Chris and Ġorġ were (naturally) very late on their assignment submission. With mere minutes to come up with a sustainable business idea, the two best friends looked around their rooms for inspiration.
Amidst the panic, Ġorġ spotted some plants he had been tending to, all sat in boring, plastic pots that didn't do them any justice.
Boom.
Plant pots, but better.. happier.
As one does, with seconds to spare, we slapped a happy face on the front of a plant pot, and the rest was history.
EARLY DAYS
WE HAVE A PROBLEM..
Over the next few weeks, we took a deep dive into the world of plants and plant-care, trying to figure out everything right and wrong with plant pots as we know them.
This revealed an alarming truth - billions of plastic pots and planters end up in landfills and our precious oceans every year, where they degrade over time for centuries.
It was with this realisation that Happy Pot's mission became clearer. We set out to create a plant pot which wasn't just cool to look at, but actually brought about a positive change in the natural world.
SUMMER, 2022
SOWING THE SEEDS
On the 8th of April, 2022, the first ever Happy Pot was made (it's still on our desk).
What started as a school assignment quickly became the only thing we could think about and work towards.
It was around this time when we realised we could make a positive impact against deforestation, and we've since honoured our pledge to plant a tree around the world for every Happy Pot sold.
OCTOBER, 2022
WORLD, MEET HAPPY POT
After months of preparation and excitement, we finally launched Happy Pot's web-store and socials on October 3rd, 2022.
As we continued to experiment with design possibilities, we realised we had only been scratching the surface with Happy Pot's customisability.

As the months rolled on, it became clear that Happy Pot's customisable, sustainable applications went far beyond the consumer market.
Today, we offer a meaningful, sustainable solution to corporate gifts - endlessly customisable plant pots and merchandise that people interact with everyday.
By offering happy plants with our pots, we're reimagining the art of corporate gift-giving by giving your employees and guests a unique gift they'll care for and cherish.
